Many of your support questions will hopefully be answered on our FAQ page.

We are currently only providing support for the VectorConnect app. If support is needed for the Vector robot itself, or for the Vector Robot app from Anki inc, please look here.

If you are still having issues with the VectorConnect app, or with getting your robot to work with the VectorConnect app, please contact us at robotsforgood@yale.edu.

Compatibility

If the VectorConnect app does not appear in the App Store/Google Play Store, your device is not compatible with the application.

You can try updating your device or trying a different device if this happens. A stable internet connection is required to use the VectorConnect app.

Supported Devices

VectorConnect has been testing on a variety of tablets and phones made between 2017 and 2020.

While we have not been able to test all mobile devices, we have tested the VectorConnect App with the following Apple and Android devices:

  • iPhone SE (2nd)
  • iPhone 11 ProiPad Pro (2nd Gen)
  • iPad Pro (3rd Gen)
  • iPad Pro (4th Gen)
Supported Android Devices
  • Google Pixel 3
  • OnePlus6 
  • Samsung Galaxy S7
  • Samsung Galaxy S9
  • Samsung Galaxy S9+

Other models are not guaranteed to work smoothly with the VectorConnect App. This list may be updated as additional testing is conducted.

The Vector Robot app is also needed to set up the robot. The informatoin for supported devices for this app can be found here.
